Joy's styling tip

We paired this beauty with the gorgeous cognac culotte trousers. What a lovely match! The warm cognac color beautifully brings out the shades in the checks, while the culottes' wide, cropped legs give the outfit a fun, quirky twist.

We’re also wearing the matching cognac blazer, made from exactly the same fabric as the trousers. The blazer has short sleeves with turned-up cuffs, so the blouse sleeves remain beautifully visible. The bow above the blazer, the checks echoed on the sleeves… yes, we love it!

We deliberately chose the brown Alice boots to wear with this outfit. They have a slightly taller shaft, which we think looks gorgeous with culottes. With a short ankle boot, a bit of leg is often left visible; these taller boots pair beautifully with the length of the trousers. That’s exactly why we’ve stocked this style again!

The boots have a lovely pleated effect at the ankle. A long reinforcement at the back of the heel helps keep the shaft from collapsing completely. They’re comfortable, fit true to size, and are available in sizes 36 to 41. A beautiful finishing touch to these warm cognac tones!
