Hello, I am Joyca, the proud owner of Mode by Joy. Running my own women’s fashion store is a dream I have always had. As a little girl, I already loved shopping and became fascinated by fashion. That passion has never disappeared and has ultimately brought me to where I am now.

My journey in fashion began at a young age. With my I worked for 15 years at Fooks in Breda, where my love for fashion only grew. That experience shaped me and laid the foundation for what Mode by Joy is now. In addition, I have also worked in the world of children’s clothing and shoes, which taught me a lot about combining style and quality.

Mode by Joy was born in a garage – a humble beginning where I lovingly and carefully put together my first collection. Thanks to the wonderful clientele and my eye for unique, fashionable items, the store quickly outgrew its space, and after a major renovation, a beautiful women’s fashion boutique emerged. My focus is on somewhat distinctive pieces, items that are just a little different and that give my customers a step ahead in the fashion world.

Besides my passion for fashion, I am a proud mother of two beautiful children and a super proud grandmother of four grandchildren: three girls and one boy. Together with my husband Marc, who always supports me, I fully enjoy my work and my family. My family means everything to me, and I am incredibly grateful to have them to share my successes with.

Today, Mode by Joy is more than just a store. It’s a pink and gold candy shop where women feel welcome for a cozy cup of coffee with a treat and can find something special from the amazing collection. It gives me great satisfaction to see my customers shine in the fashion I select with so much care.
